How SGST Works?
SGST is levied by the State Government on intra-state supplies. The revenue from SGST goes entirely to the state where the goods or services are consumed. For example, if goods are sold from Mumbai to Pune (both in Maharashtra), SGST collected goes to Maharashtra Government.
